Sunday 12th of July saw the ELR Classic Ford Car Day at Heywood Station on the East Lancashire Railway, and thankfully the weather again stayed fine for this one. On display were a number of well know Ford vehicles from the 20th century, and it was great to see some of these again, as most modern cars all look the same these days, and aren't so easily recognisable. Having owned several of these models in years gone by it certainly brought back a few good (and bad) memories, that's for sure! 
Amongst those on display were various versions of the Consul, Fiesta, Capri, Anglia, Zephyr and Cortina. |
