| It was 1940s Weekend again at Haworth, West Yorkshire and as per usual during these types of events, the weather was being less than kind at times to the poor visitors and performers. In spite of that there was plenty going on, and lots of people braved the rain showers to come along and enjoy this event. The only downside was the non-arrival of the RAF's "Battle of Britain Memorial Flight" Lancaster bomber, which was still grounded in the Netherlands due to an engine problem. All in all a very enjoyable and colourful weekend provided by the town, and in this collection there are a few shots, mostly taken on Main Street, or in the Park and Station areas. |
